A few years ago, I lost my mom to cancer. This was the single most devastating event in my life. No one is perfect, but she was about as close as one can come. And she was my best friend. The loss was overwhelming to say the least. And I didn’t understand why she was gone. She had breast cancer 10 years before that and did everything the doctors said to do. Major surgery, chemo, etc… It was brutal. Then eventually they said she was cancer free. But it metastasized, and well, you know the rest. From that point on, I searched for answers.
