MANGO BUTTER with orange & bergamot

I’ve always loved using cocoa butter and Shea butter…but mango butter is by far my favorite! It’s super creamy and rich, yet light and fluffy when blended with sweet almond oil like this one.

I added orange and bergamot essential oils to this to make it smell dreamy. Orange is great all by itself, but adding bergamot takes it to the next level. Bergamot is a common oil used to fragrance perfumes. But these essential oils don’t just smell good on you. Here’s some amazing health benefits you will enjoy from using this body butter:

• Mango butter has many skin softening, soothing, and moisturizing properties. It helps combat dry skin, eczema, and dermatitis. And is helpful in protecting the skin from the weather and UV radiation.
• Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamin E, monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc, besides a number of other minerals and vitamins, making it wonderful for the health of your skin.
• Orange essential oil has strong anti-inflammatory properties that are highly effective for fighting pain. A 2009 study published in the European Journal of Medical Research investigated the antioxidant potential of various essential oils, reporting that orange was the most highly effective of those studied, which in turn makes it a great essential oil for arthritis treatment. The scent is also very uplifting.
• Bergamot essential oil is energizing and tends to make people feel joyful. Helps alleviate sadness and depression. It inhibits the growth of germs due to being antiviral and antifungal.  It reduces pain in joints and muscles. The cicatrizant in bergamot helps heal scars and other marks on the skin.
